Job Description:

As a full-time Vascular Access Clinician with Vascular Wellness, you will provide exceptional patient care and deliver top-notch vascular access services to patients in the Southeastern United States. Your clinical expertise and professionalism will be essential in assessing patients and recommending the best course of treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient consultations for Vascular Access Device appropriateness using diagnosis, intravenous plan of therapy, prognosis, and medical/surgical history.
  • Set up and perform vascular access procedures as ordered in accordance with skill set. Appropriately trained and credentialed clinicians may set up and perform basic (PICC, Midline, peripheral IV) insertion, or when indicated and approved by MD, perform advanced (IJ, Axillary, Femoral line) insertion.
  • Understand and use all required infection prevention measures, including hand washing, PPE, and maximal sterile field for all insertions.
  • Use ultrasound guidance for all MST insertions and difficult to visualize IV access.
  • Understand and perform complete documentation and full report to appropriately licensed person caring for patient post insertion.
  • Ensure compliance with all facility policies and procedures regarding medical practice, cleanliness, and COVID-19 spread control.
Requirements:

  • Communicate and teach with excellence.
  • Willingly maintain and improve knowledge level related to vascular access with seminars, magazines, books, and more.

  • Sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, and lift up to 30 pounds independently.
  • See with corrective eyewear.

Benefits:

Vascular Wellness offers a comprehensive benefits package, including company-subsidized medical insurance, company-paid dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance; retirement plan matching; an Employee Assistance Plan; paid time off; paid holidays; roadside assistance insurance; and mileage reimbursement.

Schedule:

Typically four hour shifts per week. Occasionally shift hours will be extended due to patient, client, or company needs.

Pay Range:

Base pay starting at $78,000 up to $85,000/year, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience

Sign-On Bonus:

$5,000 total. First 50% paid out on first paycheck, second 50% paid out following successful completion of competencies. If a successful hire departs before the 2 year anniversary of their start date, Vascular Wellness will require all or part of the sign-on bonus to be repaid.
