  • Safety Compliance: Knowledge and adherence to OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Paint Application: Expertise in applying various types of coatings, including oil-based enamels, epoxies, urethanes, and waterborne finishes.
  • Quality Control: Ability to identify and rectify substandard finishes.
  • Repair Skills: Proficient in touching up and repairing damaged coatings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the aesthetic quality of equipment before dispatch, focusing on the repair of any chips, scratches, or imperfections.
  • Assist in the preparation of parts through cleaning and deburring processes.
  • Monitor and manage paint supply levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of paint usage and booth maintenance.
  • Keep the workspace organized and clean.
  • Support fellow painters as needed.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and a solid work ethic.
  • Take ownership of the quality of paint finishes on completed products.
  • Maintain good attendance and be available for overtime as required.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.

This position operates on a permanent first shift schedule. Candidates must be capable of passing various assessments related to paint application and safety equipment usage.
