Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant Hospice Specialist to join our team at (431802) Medical Services of America Home Health & Hospice. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide personalized care services to maximize the comfort and health of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care Services: Provide essential care services, including reading and recording vital signs, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and assisting with personal hygiene.
  • Safety and Mobility: Apply safety principles and proper body mechanics when dealing with patient mobility.
  • Nutrition and Hydration: Prepare and provide adequate nutrition and fluid intake for patients.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe and report changes in patient status, understanding basic elements of body functioning and reporting changes as indicated.
  • Emergency Procedures: Recognize emergency situations and implement appropriate emergency procedures when necessary.
Requirements
  • Licensure and Certification: Licensed/Certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide in the state of VA.
  • Experience: One year of experience as an Aide, with Home Health and/or Hospice experience preferred.
  • Transportation: Valid/current driver's license and auto insurance, with reliable transportation.
