Job Title: Flex Team Member

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Flex Team Member to join our team at Mathis Brothers. As a Flex Team Member, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including pulling orders, stocking inbound merchandise, unloading trucks, and scanning merchandise into inventory.

**Responsibilities:**

* Pull orders and stock inbound merchandise
* Unload trucks and scan merchandise into inventory
* Wrap items for restock and disposition returned merchandise
* Perform furniture repair and enter/processing parts orders
* Load customers' vehicles and unbox items with proper technique
* Inspect furniture for damage, functionality, defects, and imperfections
* Stage items for delivery contractors and process re-picks for contractor loadout
* Remove trash from work areas and external property
* Drive a box truck and receive/processing transfers
* Check daily closing assignments

**Requirements:**

* Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs
* Must be able to pass lift truck licensing test (written and physical)
* Must weigh less than 300 lbs (manufacturer requirement)
* Tugger and scissor lift Certification
* Must also pass company driving test for box truck
* Valid Driver's License required with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years
* Knowledge of safe operation of a delivery box truck and knowledge of state and local motor vehicle safety laws
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members
* Positive attitude when working with customers
* Knowledge of merchandise handling procedures
* Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures

**Physical Activity Requirements:**

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening, and repetitive motion.

**Work Environment:**

Indoor, climate-controlled environment. Lift Truck Operators/Tugger Operators perform tasks up to 45 feet in the air.
