Job Overview

The City of Philadelphia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as a Custody and Support Hearing Officer in the Domestic Relations Branch of Family Court. This is an at-will position that requires the ability to work independently, make sound judgments, and communicate effectively with diverse groups.

Salary: $87,639 - $97,557 per year

About the Role

This role involves conducting formal conferences and hearings between parties engaged in Child Support and Custody litigation. The selected candidate will be responsible for scheduling, hearing, evaluating, and preparing formal recommendations for submission to the Court. They will also make recommendations pertaining to entry of support and/or custody orders.

  • Conduct conferences and hearings involving parties engaged in Child Support and Custody litigation

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of five (5) consecutive years as a licensed attorney and ongoing membership in good standing of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. You will also need to meet the essential functions of the position and complete a criminal background investigation.
