Senior Civil Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Trihydro Corporation. As a key member of our Infrastructure and Natural Resources Business Unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering effective, responsive, and safe solutions to our clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project solutions and address infrastructure needs and improvements for water authorities, municipalities, and private clients.
  • Mentor project team members and manage projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Coordinate with clients, prepare proposals and fee estimates, and perform and review design calculations.
  • Supervise figure preparation, prepare plan sets, design modeling, and prepare technical memorandums and reports.
  • Develop construction cost estimates, prepare permit applications, and support business development activities for infrastructure-related projects.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of relevant engineering design experience, including designing civil infrastructure and water and/or wastewater systems, stormwater drainage, rural and urban roads, water resources, and site development projects.
  • Licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with project team members.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices nationwide.
