Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented researcher with a strong background in experimental and analytical skills to help discover molecular mechanisms that cause the whole-body response to cancer. The selected candidate will be provided with significant resources, including access to state-of-the-art laboratory space and core facilities.
Responsibilities- Conduct research in cancer biology, bioinformatics, and biophysics
- Develop and test new treatment strategies combining body reprogramming and anti-cancer medications
- Discover fundamental biological interactions between tumors and host organ systems
- Collaborate with a team of researchers to achieve research goals
- PhD degree in a relevant field (cancer biology, bioinformatics, biophysics, or immunology)
- Strong experimental and analytical skills
- Experience in working with animal models of disease
- Knowledge of computational analyses of large data sets
