Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Recommissioning Engineer to join our team at The Building People, LLC. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a passion for optimizing building operations and reducing energy consumption.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in building operations and maintenance, with a strong background in mechanical systems and building automation technology. A Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and conduct comprehensive retrocommissioning and retuning services to large federal buildings in New England.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve building operations, reduce energy consumption, and enhance occupant comfort.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions to address them.
  • Manage contract deliverables and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Oversee and lead the drafting/consolidating of required documentation and reporting associated with retrocommissioning activities.
About the Benefits

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
