Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for ophthalmology examinations by dilating pupils, checking visual acuity, and recording medical history.
  • Perform routine vision screening examinations, administer eye medications, and maintain ophthalmic instruments.
  • Assist physicians during minor surgical and laser procedures, and provide primary ophthalmic care to patients.
  • Verify patient information, record medical history, and confirm the purpose of visit.
  • Secure patient information and maintain confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year experience in ophthalmology preferred.
  • Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
