Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Tidelands Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of the human anatomy, aiding radiologists in diagnosing a wide range of diseases and disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the human anatomy
  • Prepare patients for examinations, providing excellent patient care and effective communication
  • Perform accurate documentation of patient medical records, including documentation of patient medical history before an exam
  • Determine and set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
  • Assume responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients
Requirements
  • Completion of a Radiologic Technology Associates degree program or equivalent
  • Additional completion of CT technology certificate program preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year Cat Scan experience preferred
  • South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association certification required
  • Current R.T.(R)(ARRT) required
Working Conditions

The CT Technologist will work in a fast-paced imaging department, rotating on-call shifts as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
