Overview
We are looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join our team at Chico's. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting management in promoting a customer-focused sales culture, driving results, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Estimated Salary:$45,000 - $70,000 per year
Based on the job requirements and location, we estimate that the salary for this position will be in the range of $45,000 to $70,000 per year.

Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Utilize sales techniques and communicate product knowledge to customers to meet company sales goals;
  2. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, and maintain pricing and visual standards;
  3. Support management in maintaining standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and all other duties as directed;
  4. Participate in visual directives, including monthly store sets and zone maintenance, to maintain a visually appealing store environment;
  5. Deliver exceptional customer service by modeling and promoting the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards;
  6. Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and maintain a fast and efficient register experience;
  7. Reinforce buying decisions at the checkout and achieve add-on goals, including gift card sales;
  8. Sign up clients for the reward program and build a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing;
  9. Know current product fit and style assortment offerings in store and online, and maintain consistent client communication through the customer book;
Operational Excellence:
  1. Support replenishment activities to keep the store full and abundant;
  2. Assist with locate fulfillment and visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, and visual presentations;
  3. Assist with boutique cleanliness and organization;
Teamwork and Growth:
  1. Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving;
  2. Seek personal developmental opportunities and solicit feedback;

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent;
  2. Retail or sales experience preferred;
  3. Must be 18 years of age or older;
  4. Excellent communication skills;
  5. Excellent customer service skills;
  6. Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company;
  7. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
  8. Able to communicate with customers, associates, and management;
  9. Regular attendance is essential to this position to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
