About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Otis Elevator CO. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components according to work instructions and performing ground bond testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical components according to work instructions and perform ground bond testing
  • Pack completed electrical systems using hand tools and PIV equipment
  • Perform basic assembly rework on various assemblies when a defect is identified
  • Utilize shop floor management system to drive Tier 1, 5S, and cross-training principles to promote continuous improvement
  • Participate in required Level I OJT and cross-training on Level II assembly
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 0-1 year of experience in production assembly
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing environment
