Position Summary:

The Janitorial Services Team Member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embody the core values of PMI Entertainment Group and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate daily with the supervisor to receive assignments and prioritize tasks.
  • Execute cleaning duties including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash disposal, vacuuming, and surface cleaning.
  • Address spills and biohazard situations promptly to uphold safety standards.
  • Report any irregularities or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown as required.
  • Engage in additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
  • Participate in all safety programs and report unsafe practices.
  • Possess a minimum of three to six months of relevant experience to understand custodial operations effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with supervisors, colleagues, event personnel, and guests.
  • Exhibit physical stamina and strength to handle equipment and perform manual tasks throughout the shift.
  • Operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and scrubbers as needed.
  • Be available to work during various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the event schedule.
  • Maintain physical agility for tasks requiring standing, climbing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Handle items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Utilize both simple and complex cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
  • Have vision correctable to 20/20 and normal hearing capabilities.
  • Distinguish colors accurately as part of the cleaning process.
  • Thrive in a dynamic work environment with varying hours.
  • Possess the ability to communicate and process information effectively.
Qualifications:

Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to engage with people and communicate effectively.
  • Occasional exposure to temperature variations, noise, and confined spaces while performing custodial duties.
  • Prior experience in custodial work is essential for understanding operational needs.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and guests.
  • Physical capability to lift and maneuver equipment throughout the workday.
  • Proficiency in operating various cleaning machines and tools.
