As a Music Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students, creating a dynamic experience that challenges and inspires them. You will embody the spirit of rock and roll, fostering a valuable student experience that helps them learn music and life skills.
Key Responsibilities- Maximize the quality of music instruction through private lessons and show rehearsals
- Ensure students learn the fundamentals of music, not just songs, using our proprietary teaching method
- Create and document thoughtful lesson plans using our patented teaching method, books, and app
- Communicate with parents on student progress through quality lesson notes and assignments in our app
- Interact with parents and students regularly, being visible and accessible while at the school
- Pitch in during canceled lessons to support the overall program execution
- Assist in rehearsals and maintain lesson facilities
- 2+ years of experience teaching and/or performing music professionally
- Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design
- Strong customer relations skills, with excellent ability to deal with diverse customers
- Strong organizational skills
- Resourceful, with good problem-solving skills
- Works well under pressure
- Enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and positive demeanor
- Passion for teaching
