As a Registered Nurse at UNM Hospitals, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to assigned patients, working within the nursing process to ensure the highest level of care.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct nursing care to assigned patients
  • Working within the nursing process to ensure the highest level of care
  • Providing clinical leadership for other staff and assuming relief charge duties when designated
  • Serving as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care
  • Ensuring adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Essential:
    • Program Graduate
    • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
  • Nonessential:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Nationally Certified in area of specialty

Physical Conditions:

  • Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.
