At MRG Exams, we are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Audiologist to join our team as a Medical Hearing Specialist in La Crosse, WI. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Veterans and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

About the Role

We are looking for an Audiologist who will conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of audiology principles.

The role involves conducting audiometric tests, including the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to support the VA's decision-making process. As a Medical Hearing Specialist, you will work closely with Veterans to understand their unique needs and provide high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical assessments on Veterans, including audiometric tests and DBQs
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of patient interactions and assessment results
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for Veterans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Au.D. degree from an ASHA Accredited school
  • A current license as an Audiologist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
