About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team as a Hospitalist in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide high-quality patient care in an inpatient setting with potential clinic time.
- To work 7 days on and 7 days off with no additional call, providing flexibility and stability for our patients.
- To diagnose and create a plan of care for patients with digestive ailments.
- To explain medical procedures and plans of care to patients and their families in a clear and compassionate manner.
- To attend departmental meetings and professional training sessions as requested to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in gastroenterology.
Requirements:
- Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligibility (BE) in Gastroenterology.
- Experience with endoscopic, ERCP, and EUS procedures and examinations is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
