Payroll Execution Processor

Tesla's Payroll Team is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Execution Processor to join our team in Draper, UT. As a critical member of our payroll processing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of a large and complex 80,000+ employee payroll.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Payroll Execution Processor who can exercise judgment within defined procedures and propose appropriate solutions as well as interpret payroll policies and procedures to company employees at all levels.
This role involves working closely with the SOX Team to assure the controls of payroll functions are timely and accurate according to SOX narrative documentation, as well as supporting the Payroll Tax Accounting Team to assure month and year-end financial close data is accurate and complete.
You will also partner with stock administration to ensure all stock and ESPP transactions record accurately in the payroll and the accounting system, and play a key role in the approval and readiness of year-end tax documents.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including producing weekly, bi-weekly, Canada, Mexico, and US multi-state payrolls for salaried, hourly, seasonal, and intern employees, ensuring the accuracy of data entry and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have five plus years of payroll processing experience in US and Canada, including three plus years of multi-state payroll experience, and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent experience. A CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is preferred.

Tesla offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
