Position Overview: The Janitor is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of YMCA facilities and grounds, working under the guidance of the Facilities Director. This role is crucial in upholding safety and hygiene standards in accordance with YMCA protocols.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly Wage: $15.00, Full-time Non-exempt

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to the daily cleaning schedule
  • Conduct floor maintenance, window washing, and restroom sanitation

Qualifications and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in custodial services preferred
  • Familiarity with cleaning methods and equipment
  • Strong work ethic and effective communication skills
Physical Requirements: Ability to climb, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform other physical tasks.
Work Environment: Primarily indoors, with occasional exposure to cleaning agents and outdoor conditions.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
