Job Title: MRI Technologist

Christus St. Michael Imaging Center - Texarkana is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to perform complex and specialized MRI procedures using a variety of imaging equipment and computers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and imaging, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures using advanced imaging equipment and computers.
  • Provide basic MRI screening of patients and employees.
  • Prepare and arrange for maintenance and repairs, participate in quality assurance, and resolve MRI safety issues.
  • Make quick and highly technical decisions to accommodate physical restrictions and ensure patient comfort.
  • Participate in ongoing MR education, safety, protocol development, quality assurance, and technical advances.
  • Exhibit behavior and communication skills that align with the organization's mission, values, and culture.
  • Coordinate and prioritize procedures throughout the workday to maintain high patient care and continuity.
  • Ensure all charges are correctly coded and entered into the billing system.
  • Demonstrate competence with age-specific groups to ensure proper completion of studies.
  • Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to meet unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs.
  • Protect patient confidentiality without disclosing any confidential information unless necessary for job duties.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
