Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in the emergency department. They will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive seamless care from admission to discharge.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' health needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Conduct physical exams and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as required
- Document patient interactions and outcomes in the medical record
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. They must also be certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP). Previous experience in an emergency department setting is preferred but not required.
