Job Title: General Dentist

We are seeking a skilled General Dentist to join our team at The Vail Agency in Florida. As a General Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, including examining, diagnosing, and treating diseases and injuries of teeth, gums, and mouth.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Examine and diagnose dental problems
  • Clean and fill cavities
  • Repair cracked or fractured teeth
  • Extract teeth
  • Provide preventive care, such as cleaning and applying sealants and fluorides
  • Educate patients on proper oral health habits and nutrition
  • Prescribe medications, such as antibiotics and pain relievers
  • Perform root canals, crowns, bridges, and other restorative procedures
  • Administer anesthetics and perform other surgical procedures
  • Maintain patient records and compile data for research or grant applications
  • Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
  • Refer patients to other healthcare professionals, such as orthodontists and oral surgeons
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Dentist in the state of Florida or willing to become licensed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in the latest dental practices and procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of oral anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to diagnose and treat dental problems
  • Proficient in the use of dental instruments and equipment
  • Excellent knowledge of dental materials
  • Ability to provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive dentistry
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with ability to work with other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Adherence to all HIPAA regulations and dental board codes of conduct
