Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ER Technician to join our team at Crestwood Medical Center. As a key member of our Emergency Department, you will provide critical support to our healthcare team, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical and clinical support to the Emergency Department, maintaining quality customer service standards and assisting in the flow of information within the department.
  • Perform venipunctures, heelsticks, and fingersticks to obtain blood samples for testing purposes, properly identifying patients and following procedures for collection of specimens.
  • Assist with EKG acquisitions and other related functions as assigned.
Requirements
  • One year phlebotomy experience, including obtaining specimens from neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with moderate knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire, and a Certificate of Completion of a formal program that meets regulatory standards in Conflict resolution, de-escalation, and teaches physical intervention techniques.
