Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing a book of business, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Handling incoming service requests from clients and promptly addressing their inquiries or concerns.
  • Managing the quoting process for new and renewal business.
  • Proactively suggesting new lines of coverage to clients, tailoring recommendations to their specific needs.
  • Marketing client accounts, preparing marketing information, gathering necessary data for client presentations, and presenting marketing options to clients.
  • Preparing comprehensive and high-quality insurance submissions to carriers on behalf of clients or prospects.
  • Reviewing and analyzing quotations received from carriers to identify the most suitable options for clients' insurance needs.
  • Creating professional and accurate insurance proposals for presentation to clients.
  • Developing concise and informative summaries for existing clients to ensure they have a clear understanding of their insurance coverage.
  • Reviewing endorsements to verify accuracy and compliance with clients' insurance requirements.
  • Coordinating and ordering loss runs as needed for client accounts.
  • Assisting clients during premium audits and handling disputes if necessary.
  • Preparing and issuing certificates of insurance as required by clients.
  • Performing thorough contract reviews to identify insurance requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Preparing timely and well-structured binders and invoices upon binding of coverage, including securing premium financing when needed.
  • Verifying the accuracy of newly issued policies before delivering them to clients.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and team members.
  • Possessing a comprehensive understanding of various insurance products and demonstrating the ability to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Experienced in building and maintaining positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Holding an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
  • Prior experience working with various sized fleets (1-10 power units and 10+ power units).
  • At least one professional designation or comparable job experience.
  • Above-average computer skills with the capacity to master essential software programs.
