Tipping Point Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Captivate Developer to join our team as a contractor. As a key member of our Training and Education team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge training solutions that support classroom and online learning environments for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive learning content using Adobe Captivate Classic (2019), Animate, and Articulate Storyline, adhering to development standards for color scheme, graphic design, and functionality.
- Program learning content using JavaScript, HTML, and other programming languages, incorporating CSS templates to generate highly interactive and engaging online training.
- Utilize scripting and occasional light coding to configure an integrated proprietary framework for slide layout and questions activities.
- Distribute published learning content using various LMS platforms, including JKO, ALMS, Blackboard, and Moodle.
- Integrate premium film content into courseware interactions using project standards and guidance from experienced developers.
- Analyze and interpret storyboard documents to develop engaging courseware content.
- Assist other Training and Education team members with conceptual design of new interactions.
- Develop further understanding of eLearning development principles through collaboration with other experienced developers and programmers.
- Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in web development, focusing on user experience (UX), responsive design, and accessibility to enhance the courseware's overall effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Simulation and Game Programming, or a related field of study.
- 5+ years of programming experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON scripting, and game development.
- Knowledge and basic experience with rapid eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Animate, Articulate Storyline, and/or SCORM compliant authoring tools.
- Exposure to and basic knowledge of Section 508 compliant and SCORM 2004 conformant web-based solutions.
- Understanding of developing interactivities, assets, and lessons.
- Knowledge of Learning Management System workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge or basic experience with graphic media design tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
