Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Thoroughly perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Waste Management: Follow established procedures for the disposal of trash, biohazardous materials, and recycling.
  • Cleaning Chemicals: Safely manage cleaning chemicals, ensuring they are properly used, stored, and disposed.
  • Deep Cleaning: Provide deep cleaning of patient rooms, surgical areas, public spaces, offices, and restrooms.
  • Inventory Control: Assist with inventory control of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
  • Customer Service: Respond promptly to requests for cleaning or maintenance from staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all regulations regarding sanitation and infection control.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by the EVS Manager.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1-year recent Hospital or Hotel Housekeeping experience.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
  • Attendance: No attendance or tardy issues.
  • Deadline and Detail-Oriented: Deadline and detail-oriented.
  • Flu Vaccination: Flu vaccination required.
  • Education: HS Diploma or GED required.
