Senior Nurse Anesthetist

UC Davis Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Anesthetist to join our Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients across various locations, including the main hospital and clinics. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide anesthesia services to patients of all ages and demographics, including complex and challenging cases.
- Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement anesthesia plans, taking into account patient medical history, current health status, and surgical requirements.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Current California RN license and CRNA certification.
- Graduate of an accredited CRNA Masters or Doctoral Program.
- Current certification by the NBCRNA as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
- AHA CPR/BLS certification.
- Knowledge of general nursing theories and practices, as well as airway management and anesthetic agents.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
