Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager is tasked with ensuring the integrity of the Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001 standards. This role is pivotal in overseeing internal audits and driving quality initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance the ISO 9001: Quality Management System, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the generation and management of Corrective Action / Preventive Action reports.
  • Champion quality improvements and performance enhancements throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with Research & Development, Production teams, and Quality Control Lab personnel to assess and analyze customer return materials.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analyses to identify and rectify quality issues.
  • Support the Purchasing Department in evaluating suppliers and managing customer questionnaires.
  • Engage with customers on-site to facilitate material sorting and act as a liaison with their Quality Control Departments as necessary.
  • Mentor and develop the Quality Assurance team to foster a culture of quality excellence.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer audits, ensuring adherence to specific product specifications.
  • Lead monthly Quality Control meetings to assess quality objectives and performance metrics.
  • Implement and uphold policies and procedures, reinforcing the Quality Management System.
Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Management.
  • Proven supervisory experience in a quality-focused environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Systems.
  • Ability to provide functional, technical, and process leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development.
