Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist/Technician to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing laboratory analysis, verifying and reporting laboratory findings, and adhering to established regulations related to specimen processing, quality control, and laboratory safety.
Responsibilities- Perform laboratory analysis following documented procedures, including PCR-based molecular assays and molecular biology techniques.
- Verify and report laboratory findings in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Follow all established regulations related to specimen processing, quality control, lab safety, and other relevant areas.
- Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- 1 year experience and/or training in a laboratory setting.
- ASCP certification preferred.
