Loan Processor II

Reports To: Operations Manager

Compensation: $25-35/hr (depending on experience)

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

Location: Flower Mound, Texas

Job Summary:

The Loan Processor II is responsible for processing loan applications in compliance with mortgage lending and applicable investor guidelines. This role involves analyzing loan applications, assessing creditworthiness, and reviewing title commitments and fees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor the loan process and manage client expectations through closing.
2. Review loan files for adherence to underwriting standards and ensure completeness prior to submission.
3. Communicate effectively with borrowers to acquire necessary supporting documents.
4. Provide quality loan processing and submit approved mortgage loan files to closing department.

Requirements:

• Performs a detailed evaluation of the residential loan application file to verify completeness and adherence to established standards.
• Ensures receipt and reviews all property required documents.
• Communicates effectively with borrowers to acquire necessary supporting documents.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, a person is regularly sitting in a normal office environment at a desk using a computer, phone, fax, and copy machine. This person may occasionally need to lift up to 20 pounds.
