Job Summary:

The Assistant Case Manager - Child Safety Specialist will work in the field, collaborating with the case management team, to provide a variety of services to families and children in various social service programs. This includes assisting clients as outlined by the assigned case manager, providing services to individuals and families, transporting clients as needed, and documenting observations and interactions with clients in the DCS case management system.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients as outlined by the assigned case manager
  • Provide services to individuals and families in various social service programs
  • Transport clients as needed, including handling and installing child safety seating
  • Arrange client appointments
  • Supervise visits between parents and children
  • Refer clients to appropriate community resources
  • Participate in Foster Care Review Board meetings, court hearings, and other meetings as required
  • Document observations and interactions with clients in the DCS case management system
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Arizona-issued driver's license
  • Level one Fingerprint Clearance card - Arizona
