Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ortho/Neuro unit at TriHealth, Inc. As a Nurse Specialist, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients and families, documenting findings and communicating with healthcare providers as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient needs and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and health counseling to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to revise care plans and ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to other healthcare team members, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
  • BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
  • Registered Nurse licensure
  • Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in orthopedic and neurosurgical care
  • Specialty certification in nursing
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and bending, as well as occasional lifting and pushing. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
