About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Retirement Plan Consultant to join our team at GBS - Global. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert consulting services to our clients, helping them navigate the complexities of retirement plan management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialize in providing consulting services to assigned client accounts, focusing on day-to-day account management for accounts of low to moderate complexity.
  • Build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing clients at all levels within the company.
  • Assess and prioritize client needs in a timely manner, identifying and helping clients focus on their most critical needs.
  • Set and communicate clear and realistic expectations, reviewing and approving all key client deliverables.
  • Work closely with Sales to prepare and negotiate fee-based pricing of services and on the transition of new clients post the completed sales process.
  • Anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues, recommending process, product, or service improvements.
  • Collaborate and contribute to project teams to achieve milestones and objectives, working with a large degree of autonomy under the instruction of more senior staff.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in retirement plan management. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, or five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years of related experience in professional services businesses, with excellent oral, written communication, organizational skills, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Experience in defined contribution plan design, governance, compliance, and administration, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A strong ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and effectively handle large, long-term projects.
