Position Summary: Amtec Global Solutions Inc is in search of a highly qualified Senior Hydraulic Systems Technician. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supervising and executing various tasks such as cleaning, disassembly, diagnosis, reassembly, and testing to guarantee the production of top-notch repaired hydraulic components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct skilled operations including cleaning, disassembly, diagnosis, reassembly, and testing of hydraulic systems.
- Assemble, modify, and rework components utilizing schematics, pick tickets, process documentation, and verbal instructions.
- Employ a variety of hand tools and machinery such as power screwdrivers, calipers, pressure gauges, and hydraulic test stands.
- Ensure all parts are adequately cleaned prior to use.
- Identify wires using basic color code sequences.
- Recognize fitting types and plumbing sizes, including NPT, SAE, JIC, and metric systems.
- Manage inventory handling and transactions in accordance with established protocols.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and team-building exercises.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry standards, machinery, techniques, and safety regulations related to hydraulics.
- Assist in identifying parts and compiling bills of material.
- Complete necessary documentation and maintain records of customer and supplier interactions.
- Oversee clean-up and inventory management activities.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings.
- Familiarity with various mechanical and electrical measuring tools.
- Commitment to excellence and high-quality standards.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Effective management of priorities and workflow.
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working within dynamic environments.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Thorough understanding of safety protocols and precautions related to hydraulics.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand and sit.
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
- Frequently works near moving mechanical components.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.
