Troon Golf is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties, including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs, and window cleaning.
  • Supply Management: Inform the supervisor of needed supplies and maintain all cleaning solutions in accordance with OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.
  • Trash Removal and Emergency Cleaning: Remove trash from premises and assist in emergency cleaning situations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition and ensure that security procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Inspect all assigned areas daily and report any cleaning and maintenance discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a friendly and professional attitude and work effectively with building staff.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of previous custodial experience preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills, with strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to [insert weight] pounds following appropriate safety procedures and climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 12 ft).
