Work Schedule:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload and process incoming furniture shipments, which involves manually handling large and heavy items.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds independently and maneuvering items over 150 pounds with assistance.
  • Utilize scanning technology to record essential information regarding the condition, quantity, and storage location of materials.
  • Monitor order management systems to ensure accurate order receipt and provide detailed reports on any discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accuracy.
  • Pick and organize deliveries from inventory according to truck and stop numbers.
  • Contribute feedback on user tools and suggest improvements based on daily experiences.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Identify efficient methods to complete tasks and seek clarification when necessary.
  • Ability to read and understand English for safety compliance.
  • Cross-train in various departments and undertake additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted and handle products over 150 lbs. with assistance.
  • Willingness to work on the warehouse floor for 8 hours or more daily.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Familiarity with scanning technology.
  • Previous experience in distribution or logistics is advantageous.
  • Experience with High Jump software is a plus.
  • Proficient in reading and comprehending English for safety purposes.
