Underground Construction Specialist

Job Summary

Pramira Inc is seeking a skilled Underground Construction Laborer to join our Construction Services Division (CX). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy related to tasks and following all policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
  • Assist crew members with construction work as required
  • Install conduit, pedestals, and vaults
  • Load, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment in a safe manner
  • Dig trenches and remove, fill, or compact earth
  • Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces
  • Assist with the handling and placement of conduit and cables
  • Maintain equipment
  • Perform site clean-up
  • Complete all required Company documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old, have a valid driver license with clean driving record & health card
  • Self-motivated with ability to following oral and written instructions
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkers
  • Must have the ability to exert heavy physical effort, lift heavy physical objects, kneel, crouch, balance, climb or crawl
  • Frequently use hand tools, shovels, pneumatic tools (tampers, compactors, 60 & 90lb jackhammer, chipping hammer)
  • Must have the ability to assist in the installation of conduit, hand holes, vaults, manholes and cable.
  • Must pass a Drug Test & Background Check
