The Financial Planning & Analysis Lead is responsible for evaluating and projecting financial, economic, and other relevant data to deliver precise and timely insights for strategic and operational decision-making. This role addresses a variety of challenges that range from moderate to significant complexity.

The Financial Planning & Analysis Lead gathers, organizes, validates, and interprets financial data and economic indicators, ensuring that senior management has the necessary information for making informed strategic and operational choices regarding acquisitions, investments, capital expenditures, divestitures, mergers, or asset sales. This position assesses the financial ramifications of proposed investments or transactions, enabling senior leaders to compare options against the organization's business goals. It also involves evaluating industry, economic, financial, and market trends to project the organization's short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive stance. Key responsibilities include analyzing revenues, expenses, costs, pricing, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates. Financial modeling, reporting, and budgeting may also be part of the role. The Lead provides counsel to executives in developing functional strategies that are often segment-specific and of significant importance. This position requires independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues related to job responsibilities, operating with minimal supervision and utilizing independent analysis of various factors to determine the optimal course of action.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 8 or more years of experience in finance and/or accounting, or equivalent
  • 2 or more years of experience in project leadership
  • Proven experience advising senior leadership on financial strategies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of complex accounting and financial transactions for both internal and external reporting
  • Previous experience in developing methodologies and criteria for measuring and summarizing data for intricate analyses
  • Ability to lead and manage special projects that may require cross-functional collaboration
  • A strong commitment to contributing to an organization focused on continuously enhancing consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or CPA is strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in the health insurance sector within Finance/Accounting

The salary range provided reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment. The compensation may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
