We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team at Occidental Petroleum Corporation. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting plant instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair plant instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues
  • Install and calibrate new equipment and instruments
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operation of plant systems
Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of experience in process instrumentation and electrical maintenance
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting using loop drawing, schematics, ladder logic, and P&I drawings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
