Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Education Specialist to join our school district near Chapin, SC. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with students, families, and educators to promote positive academic and emotional outcomes.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to support student growth.
  • Provide counseling and mental health support to students, promoting social-emotional learning and well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs and develop effective strategies for success.
  • Offer guidance on academic, social, and emotional interventions to support student achievement.
  • Support crisis intervention efforts and contribute to a positive school climate.
Qualifications
  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology required.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in South Carolina.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
