Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient progress, identify potential complications, and take appropriate action to prevent or manage them
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience working in a pediatric ICU or critical care setting preferred
