Medical Professional for Infectious Disease Unit

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our team in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit. As a member of our team, you will contribute to creating a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues through kindness and active listening.
This role is ideal for a nurse who values delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the nursing team to create effective plans of care.
About the Role:
In this position, you will implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, documenting treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
You will assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered, applying sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions. Additionally, you will provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, administering over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
Responsibilities:
- Implement physician orders and administer medications as prescribed.
- Start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests as needed.
- Document treatment according to company policy and regulatory requirements.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and be able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this position is $33.00/hr - $60.93/hr, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings options and paid time off.
