About the JobHarrington Geotechnical Engineering Inc. is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to fill a Project Engineer position. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and practices, proficiency in construction inspection and management, and experience with various commercial geotechnical software. We're offering a competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement.

In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, performing field inspections and testing, analyzing data, and preparing reports. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure effective project delivery and provide technical guidance on geotechnical issues throughout the project lifecycle. Your knowledge of standard business software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, will also be valuable assets in this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct geotechnical investigations and studies to assess soil and rock properties
  • Perform field inspections and testing as required during construction projects
  • Analyze data and prepare reports on soil conditions, stability, and foundation design
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop effective solutions
