Position Title: Plastic Molding Technician
As a key player in our production team, you will oversee the operation of machinery that transforms raw plastic materials into high-quality molded products. Your role will involve managing the entire molding process, from the initial melting of plastic granules to the final cooling and shaping of the containers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adjust and maintain machinery settings to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly, seeking assistance from maintenance when necessary.
- Adhere to all company quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Assist in the setup and changeover of molds as required.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections to verify product specifications.
- Collaborate with fellow operators and maintenance staff to address mechanical challenges.
- Keep your workspace organized and clean to promote safety and efficiency.
- Document processes and results accurately, both on paper and digitally.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in machine operation.
- Experience with blow molding techniques.
- Knowledge of plastic materials and their properties.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
Position Type: This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.
Work Environment: The role requires working on-site in a dynamic production setting. You will be part of a rotating shift schedule, contributing to a team that values efficiency and quality.
We are committed to providing a safe workplace, with necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) provided. The production area may experience high noise levels, and temperatures can vary.
