Host

Restaurant 604 is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their dining experience.

• Manage the host station, including seating guests, maintaining the floor chart, and fairly distributing guests among server sections.
• Monitor table rotation and ensure that guests are seated in a timely manner.
• Take reservations and phone orders, and accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Bus and reset tables, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Communicate with the kitchen and management team to ensure seamless service.
• Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even in high-pressure situations.

• Ability to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly, throughout the shift.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
• Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is an asset.
