Job Summary:

Waste Connections is seeking a Union Truck Washer to join our team in Eugene, Oregon. This role involves performing various duties, including washing and cleaning trucks to support maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a truck cleanliness program to ensure trucks are washed and cleaned according to schedule.
  • Operate a pressure washer to clean trucks and equipment.
  • Sweep floors, put away parts, and perform other custodial functions to maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment and facilities.
  • Assist in keeping building grounds and wash bay clean and organized.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work safely in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
