Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting individual psychological evaluations, developing and implementing individualized education plans, and providing counseling and support to students.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students with disabilities.
  • Provide counseling and support to students on a variety of issues, including academic concerns, social-emotional problems, and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to develop and implement interventions to address students' needs.
  • Work closely with parents and families to provide support and resources.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote student success and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid and current state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with state regulations and guidelines pertaining to special education and psychological services in schools.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and best practices.
  • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-informed decisions.
