Job Overview

TriMech Services is seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to provide high-quality design and technical support for die plates and related items. The ideal candidate will have experience with SOLIDWORKS and a strong understanding of mechanical design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review project specifications and determine necessary items to be ordered.
  2. Provide customer CAD sketches and drawings.
  3. Meet tight design deadlines and work overtime when required.
  4. Lead technical discussions on design issues or proposed changes.
  5. Complete CAD models, detail drawings, bills of material, and shop information packets.
  6. Ensure digital information is transferred to CNC Programmers.
  7. Prioritize quality, safety, and environmental considerations in all tasks.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Required: Associate's Degree or higher in mechanical design.
  • Preferred: Certifications in mechanical design and/or analysis software (SolidWorks highly preferred).

Experience:

  • Required: 2+ years of mechanical design experience using SOLIDWORKS.
  • Preferred: Willingness to travel.
