Neonatal Intensivist

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatologist to join our team at the Department of Neonatology in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, teaching, and clinical research in a Level 2B NICU. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of dedication to patient care, experience with teaching, and a strong interest in clinical and quality improvement research.

• Maintain and update a strategic plan for the NICU to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
• Participate in clinical research as appropriate.
• Provide educational support to Residents and Fellows.
• Ability to function in a Level II NICU.
• Comfortable managing babies with CPAP and ventilation support.
• Provide family-centered care.

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent with active board certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Academic credentials for a faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor is preferred.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to the culture, needs, and aspirations of the community.
• Ability to function in a team environment to support collaboration.
• Demonstrated record of supporting patients in a Level II NICU as the primary physician.
• Excellent verbal, written, and group presentation skills.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to start date.
• Unrestricted DEA certification.
