Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Numerical Control Engineer to join our team at Fusion Life Sciences Technologies LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining numerical controlled equipment programming and operator instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Interrogate, analyze, comprehend, and interpret various engineering drawings, models, bills of materials, technical specifications, quality documents, and departmental procedures as necessary to perform assigned work.
- Provides MCAD operational models and 2D drawings for manufacturing process planning sequences as required.
- Develops, creates, and maintains Tooling/Fixture definition for manufacturing operations for all media types including MCAD and manual legacy designs.
- Executes creation and maintenance of CAM programs and operator instructions for Numerical Controlled equipment.
- Responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining Loft MCAD models, flat patterns, and associated digital tooling programs.
- Working knowledge of NC Programming, Loft, Engineering, Tool Design, Manufacturing, and Planning processes and procedures.
- Skilled in the concept related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
- Supports producibility assessments when requested.
- Maintains records and schedules of work assigned.
- Will meet established company cost control standards, schedule, and quality requirements to maintain market competitiveness.
- Provide technical assistance to procurement and suppliers as determined by management.
